Toys: Tough/Tug/Fetch

Instead of stuffies that end up being destroyed- not cost effective, and often risky as parts of them can be ingested- invest in tough toys that require you to interact with your dog.

Playing tug of war especially in combination with fetch is an excellent physical activity, that can be played outdoors and indoors, which is particularly useful in summer and winter when frenchies spend more time inside- and no it doesn't cause behavior problems- that's a myth.

"
Playing tug makes dogs aggressive. There is no evidence that this is so. The only study ever done, by Borchelt and Goodloe, found no correlation between playing tug and the incidence of aggression directed at either family members or strangers. Tug is, in fact, a cooperative behaviour directed at simulated prey: the toy." Jean Donaldson.

Fair Play, improves the bond with your dog and improves their interaction skills especially if you teach them the rules of play. Many of the toys listed below are frenchie owner recommended and frenchie tested. Nothing is indestructible, although those listed below can endure a fair amount of abuse.
